Research On Zujian Activities In The Mid-Tang Dynasty And Love Poems

The ancestral farewell activities originated from the worship ceremonies holding for farewell in the pre-Qin period.They experienced the development from the Han Dynasty to the beginning of the Tang Dynasty.During the mid-Tang Dynasty,new changes took place on the basis of inheritance.As a result,new development appeared in the lyric poetry of farewell.This paper presents the ancestral farewell activities and the farewell poetry of the Tang Dynasty intending to represent farewell activities of the Tang dynasty,expound the versification under the influence of farewell activities,and the overall characteristics of farewell poetry in this period.The paper contains four parts,three chapters.Each section is briefly introduced as follows:The introduction,reviewed the research status of the farewell activities and poetry of the Mid-Tang Dynasty,and teased out the related study from three points,containing the mid-Tang Dynasty,farewell poetry in that period and the relationship between ancestral farewell activities and the farewell poetry,from the research of farewell poetry in the Tang dynasty.This part defined the purpose,meaning,and method of the study in this paper and paved the way for subsequent writing.The first chapter,mainly deals with the general situation of the farewell activities in the mid-Tang Dynasty.This part briefly reviewed the development of the farewell activities before the mid-Tang Dynasty,sort out the farewell activities of the Tang Dynasty recorded in the literature from official aspect the private aspect,further clarifying the activity circumstances and the farewell poetry,then grasp the relationship between the ancestral farewell activities and poem in the Tang Dynasty as a whole.The second chapter,mainly presented the versification of poetry in the mid-Tang Dynasty.The part briefly reviewed the poetry before the mid-Tang Dynasty and outline the poem versification of this period.According to the artistic style,it is divided into two periods to study.The early period is represented by the ten Dali geniuses,and the late period is represented by the Han Meng school and Yuan Bai school.Study the influence of Dali poetry on patterned versification and the influence of the Yuan Bai poetry school on popularization of the farewell poetry.The third chapter,mainly studied the influence of the farewell activities of the Tang Dynasty on the farewell poetry.First,the influence of farewell activities on the emotional aspects of the poetry contains the relationship between the time of ancestral farewell activities and the scenery description in poetry,the relationship between the reason of ancestral farewell activities and the atmosphere created by poetry,the relationship between the objects to farewell and emotional connotation of the poetry;Second,the influence of ancestral farewell activities on artistic characteristics includes the relationship between the occasions of ancestral farewell activities and the language style of the poetry,the relationship between the scale of ancestral farewell activities and the composition of poetry,the relationship between the people’s mood in ancestral farewell activities and the image choice of poetry,etc.,in order to tease out the relationship between the two points.
