César Auguste Jean Guillaume Hubert Franck(born in Belgium in 1822,died in Paris in 1890)is a French composer,organist,pianist,and musician in the second half of the 19 th century,who was revered as the "father of modern French music." He devoted his life to the revitalization of French art,and it is a important personality in the history of French music.His music creation involves chamber music,organ,piano,oratorio,opera and more."Prelude,Fugue and Variation" is an important and representative organ of Franco.It is a combination of classicism,romanticism and religious emotions.Based on the background and life experience of Frank,this article analyzes the work and grasps the style of the work.Through the performance of his own practice and the collection of sound,a comprehensive interpretation of the performance is made.The first chapter mainly introduces the background of Frank's "Prelude,Fugue and Variation".The second chapter is mainly the music analysis of "Prelude,Fugue and Variation",which is divided into two aspects: the version of the score,Musical analysis of the work.The last chapter is the interpretation of the prelude,fugue and variation,divided into four parts: voice,timbre,phrase,rhythm and speed.
