Analysis Of The Composition And Performance Of John Adams "The Gate Of China"

This paper takes the American minimalist music composer John Adams’ s piano piece " China gates",as the research object,starting from the creative techniques and performance analysis of the work to explore the " Chinese elements" contained in it,analyze the playing skills and style of minimalist music and " Chinese elements " on the piano,so that other researchers and performers can better interpret the "Chinese elements" in the eyes of Western composers.At the same time,the author hopes that more similar works of "a combination of Chinese and Western elements " can be discovered and valued by the academia.
