Since the theme film was put forward in the 1980 s,the theme film has experienced a boom,a transition,and now it has again become the "beloved" of the film market.Since the new century,the relationship between the theme film and the film market has also experienced a process from deviation to catering.Under the background of the entertainment and blockbuster of Chinese films at present,thematic films explore the way out between the domestic commercial films and Hollywood blockbusters by virtue of the genre development.Since the new century,thematic films have returned to the mainstream of the domestic film market by referring to the creation mode of genre films and the exploration of the film market.In this article,through carding domestic development history theme movie,with the type of film theory,from the main melody movie narrative strategy,image shaping,the concept of "high" production mode and so on many Angle to analyze the status quo and trend of development of the theme movie typed,reveals the main melody movies through what typed strategy to achieve market,and the domestic main melody movies since the new century typed some key problems on the development of thinking.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is the interpretation of thematic film and the background of the birth of thematic film and the significance of The Times,mainly demonstrating the background of the transformation of thematic film since the new century.The second chapter describes the status quo of genre creation of thematic films since the new century in combination with typical works,focusing on the research of genre creation strategies of thematic films since the new century in order to cater to the audience and the market,mainly from the perspective of narrative strategies,highly conceptual creation and character image building.The third chapter is a reflection on the development of domestic thematic films in the future.It mainly discusses how to strike a balance between the functions of thematic films,namely,ideological propaganda and audience acceptance,marketization and marketing strategies,as well as the expansion of genre films.
