Johannes Brahms was a musician,composer and pianist of the German romantic school.His works skillfully integrate romanticism and classicism music,giving new vitality to classical works in the romantic period of the 19 th century.He is also the leader of neoclassicism.Brahms' piano works in the late period are all based on personality sketches.Op119,one of his later piano works,was written in 1893.At this time,with the death of his sister and some relatives and friends,Brahms was dejected.The work expressed Brahms' inner loneliness and melancholy,and also showed his infinite nostalgia for the good old days.Brahms' "four piano sketches" Op119 is composed of "b minor interlude","e minor interlude","C major interlude" and "rhapsody in e flat major",respectively.This work adopts the typical style of character sketch in the romantic period without adding any title,but its form is compact and balanced and has the artistic characteristics of classicism.By studying the four piano opusculum Op119 style feature and its formal structure,harmony tonal,theme,the deformation of the melodies in the folk elements to detail,and through explain multi-tone level control points in the play,music,dramatic expression in changeful rhythm,sound and touch key aspects to analyze the relationship between,make readers can more in-depth understanding of Brahms "four piano opusculum" Op119 of late.
