Father-son relationship is an unavoidable element in the creation of many film and television works,and it is also a subject that many directors are willing to explore.The relationship between father and son has a special cultural significance in the civilization of the Chinese nation for thousands of years.Chinese contemporary directors have their own understanding of this topic.Especially since the founding of New China,with the change of the times and the transformation of society,the appearance of father-son relationship has also undergone profound changes in the image.From the respect and respect of father and even patriarchy,it gradually transitions to its reflection and challenge.The film "Liu Xiaobai's Diary" is an author's exploration of the image practice of the father-son relationship in the form of a feature film based on his own growth environment and background.The film began to create scripts from March 2017,and was cut into pieces in early October 2018.The script has been repeatedly scrutinized and polished by more than ten drafts,trying to restore a post-90 relationship[for the expression of father-son relationship]father-son relationship expression.Through the research and analysis of the existing film on the theme of father-son relationship,I mastered some artistic techniques and expressions of the image of the relationship between father and son,and based on my own understanding,combined with the author's previous creative experience,in art style and artistic techniques.Has its own unique means of expression.This article takes the drama "Liu Xiaobai's Diary" as an example.The visualization of the theme of father-son relationship is elaborated from three aspects:creation practice,artistic style and artistic techniques.
