The primary task of high school students is to learn,to improve their academic performance, and to take the ideal university, which is a good wish of high school students. However, some high school students have high requirements for their academic performance, can feel academic pressure, and are prone to become so anxious that can not achieve effective learning,as a consequence leading to serious delays.Whether domestically or abroad, whether in primary school, middle school or university, the student's academic delay is very common. For high school students who are at an important stage in life, getting rid of academic delays means higher learning efficiency and better academic performance. This demonstrates very important practical significance for their pursuit of better personal development.Previous studies have found that the higher the level of perfectionism, the more serious the delay. However, the discussion of its internal mechanism is not sufficient, and there is no research on the influence of the perfectionism of the high school students on its academic delay. At the same time, the study found that stress perception is prone to cause anxiety, while trait anxiety can significantly predict the individual's procrastination level. However, there is no research system to verify the relationship between perfectionism, stress perception, state of anxiety and academic procrastination, especially among the high school students. On the basis of the previous research, this study explores the internal mechanism of the influence of perfectionism on the delay in learning of high school students through systematic analysis of factors affecting academic procrastination. In this study,650 high school students from the 12th Middle School of Nanjing were tested using the Chinese revised version of the Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, the Middle School Student Academic Delay Scale, the Pressure Perception Scale, and the Trait Anxiety Scale.608 valid questionnaires were recovered, and the effective recovery rate was 93.54%.The results of the study:(1)High school students' perfectionism, stress perception, trait anxiety, and academic delay are at a medium or upper level. At the same time, high school students' gender, perfectionism, stress perception and trait anxiety have gender differences. The level of girls in each variable is higher than that of boys.High school students' perfectionism, stress perception, trait anxiety and academic procrastination have grade differences. The level of high school students in each variable is significantly higher than that of high school.student.(2)There is a significant correlation between high school students' perfectionism, stress perception, trait anxiety and academic delay.(3)The perfectionism of high school students can significantly predict the academic delay.(4)The pressure perception of high school students has a significant positively predictive effect on academic delay.(5)The trait anxiety of high school students has a significant positively predictive effect on academic delay.(6)The influence of high school students' perfectionism on academic procrastination is based on pressure perception and trait anxiety.Through this study, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The perfectionism, stress perception, trait anxiety, and academic procrastination of high school students are more serious. There are more girls with perfectionism, stress perception and trait anxiety than boys, and perfectionism, stress perception and trait anxiety of senior students. And academic delays are higher than high school students.(2)High school students with perfectionism traits, stress perception, and trait anxiety, the more serious their academic delays.(3)High school students with perfectionism indirectly affect the academic delay of high school students by influencing stress perception and causing anxiety.
