"Miaoling "Mountain Flower"" Creation Report

Guizhou province is the largest gathering area of Miao nationality in China.Here,it is uniquely endowed for drawing creation of Miao-style meticulous figure paintings.The decorative beauty of traditional costumes and the characteristics that only belong to Miao nationality characters bring some new inspirations and different thinking for the creation of meticulous figure paintings.Modern and contemporary artists have carried out a series of excellent works with different styles,forms and contemporary styles based on the unique shapes and colors of the Miao people.In the context of this era,this work elaborates on the painting process of Miaoling’s’ Shanhua’ from the perspective of Miao women’s beauty.Firstly,a preliminary analysis of beauty of Miao women living in Guizhou area was carried out.The creative ideas were clarified from the perspectives of the elements and composition of Miao women’s beauty.Secondly,the creative information and source materials of art were collected through field investigation,and the works of representative painters were carefully compared and analyzed for the selection of suitable composition and modeling methods that could be used during graduate creation.Finally,during the period of painting,I strive to show the typical external and inner beauty of Miao women living in Guizhou,and truly express my sensibility from the aspects of lines,coloring and techniques.This creation reproduces the natural beauty of Miao women from the delicate perspective of women,thus expressing the sincere love for Guizhou Miao women.
