Wang Chuyi(王处一)is an important representative of Quanzhen Tao,and his poetry is also an important corpus in the transition period from Middle Ages to Modern Chinese. In order to make certain contributions to the study of Chinese vocabulary. This paper will use exhaustive survey, the combination of qualitative and quantitative, description and interpretation method. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. This chapter mainly introduces the content and thoughts of Wang Chuyi(王处一)and his Poetry, introduces the research status of the remarks, the research methods, characteristics and significance of this paper. This article takes Tao Zang(道藏)as the standard, and all the Poetry of Wang Zhiyi’s(王处一)Yunguangji(云光集)included in Bai Ruxiang’s,Tan Chuduan Liu Chuxuan Wang Chuan Hao Datong Sun Buer(谭处端刘处玄王处一郝大通孙不二集)is a corpus. The remarks are fully described more than 600 Poetries of Wang Shuyi(王处一).On the basis of summarizing the definitions of the duplicated words by the predecessors, the text defines it,that is,the vocabulary includes both the same, independent and unspoken monosyllabic overlap,or the meaning and overlap of the monosyllabic. The meaning-independent two-syllable simple words also include two-syllable words formed by overlapping monosyllabic words with the same, similar or related meanings as their monosyllabic words. Therefore,we can divide the remarks in Wang Shiyi’s(王处一)Poetry into two types:Overlapping words and Overlapping compound word. The second chapter is the form and category of the duplicated words in Wang Shiyi’s(王处一)Poetry.First of all, exhaustively collect and confuse the remarks in Wang Shiyi’s(王处一)Poetry, and divide the 129 duplicated words that appear in them into two categories:AA and AABB,of which 110 are AA and 19 are AABB.Secondly, from the category point of view,AA-style phrasing words are based on whether A isalone or not,and the meaning of A is related to the meaning after overlap.AA-style duplicated words can be divided into two types:overlapping words and Overlapping compound words. The overlapping words and the Overlapping compound words can be divided into nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and onomatopoeia according to the different part-of-speech words.AABB-style vocabulary words can be divided into two types according to their word formation:AA+BB→AABB;and AB+AB→AABB.Therefore, the conclusion is that both the overlapping words and the Overlapping compound words are the most adjectives, occupying the largest proportion, and the other words are small. The difference is that overlapping compound words do not have sound words.AABB-style phrasing words are all adjective classes. The third chapter is the semantic study of the duplicated words. This chapter analyzes the remarks in Wang Shiyi’s(王处一)Poetry from two aspects:semantic features and semantic types.First of all,the semantic features of the remarks in Wang Shiyi’s(王处一)Poetry are:1.Homomorphic polysemy;2.Alien synonymous;3.Homonym.Secondly,the semantic types of the duplicated words in Poetry include the following aspects:1.Depicting scenes;2.Describing characters;3.Simulating sounds;4.Degree of expression;5.Table name. The conclusion is that during the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, the vocabulary developed rapidly, and the expressiveness of the duplicated words was very active.Semantic features such as Homomorphic polysemy,Alien synonymous, and Homonym all show the flexibility and ambiguity of the meaning of the words. The chapter four is using the duplicated words in Wang Shiyi’s(王处一)poetry to help revise the diachronic dictionary. We add 27 items and provide 1 documentary evidence which is earlier and add 11 item with new meaning. Finally, the main contents of the previous chapters are summarized in the conclusion section.
