With the changing of learning environment,teachers are no longer the knowledge carriers in the traditional sense,but the guides of students' learning knowledge and interest.The role of teachers is more to stimulate students' interest in learning and improve their learning motivation.PEP primary English textbooks are designed to start from Grade three.The content is relatively simple for pupils in provincial capitals who have been systematically studying English since Grade1,so fast learners are tend to lose interest in learning.As for the students who learn slowly can not catch up with most of his classmates and also are tend to lose their interest.Possibly,some students have a fear of the hardship of learning English.The study is to make full use of the resources in textbooks,by listening,speaking,playing and performing,so that each student can assume the corresponding role in the process.Make sure the English classroom become lively and interesting,students be attracted,and drive students to learn English happily and actively.The use of textbook plays in English classroom teaching can allow students to "talk on paper" about English learning to serve the reality of life and solve real problems in the real world.The plays range from learning the target language to finally showing the results of the exercise.Every part of the process of editing,training,and acting is a process of training,training,and developing students 'abilities.The use of lessons and plays not only allows students to increase their knowledge of English,but also to cultivate and develop their abilities.This study takes Kunming SY school as the case.In practice,it establishes research through literature,questionnaire survey,interview,and case analysis methods,and uses PBL teaching methods in constructivism theory,especially constructivism theory.The cognitive learning concept and humanistic learning theory are the guiding theories.This study is based on the discovery of material resources in textbooks.It turns the teachers' platform in the classroom into a platform for the students and situalies the teaching content to create an enabling environment for students to learn English.Teachers should turn the classroom into a paradise of learning and pay more attention to the cultivation of students' personalities and possibilities.Teachers and students work together to process and reinvent the content of teaching in textbooks.Using the ways of listening,speaking,playing and acting to learn the content in textbooks,teachers stimulate each student show their creativity in the process of taking corresponding role tasks.Enable students to actively explore and learn English when they complete the tasks.This process can cultivate students' communication ability,cooperation ability and learning skills in group cooperation.The study is concluded that: English plays are used in English teaching in primary schools.Teachers should integrate the teaching elements in the classroom,pay attention to the students 'individuality,and the commonality and possibility provide more possibilities for the students to individualize and diversify their development.The teaching should be changed from traditional to information technology background teaching,make full use of the dynamic generation in the classroom,cultivate students 'self-learning learning skills,and pay attention to the results of student performances.
