Application Of Direct Method In Chinese Teaching In Longcheng School In Thailand

Based on the teaching theory of Chinese as a foreign language and the theory of second language acquisition,this article first investigates and analyzes the characteristics,principles,advantages and disadvantages of direct method teaching,and the characteristics of the teaching objects.Secondly,according to the author's teaching experience in Nakprasith School in Thailand,the direct method is specifically applied to the elementary Chinese comprehensive course and culture class in Nakprasith School,and the teaching effect is investigated and analyzed.Finally,the author reflects on it,points out the advantages and disadvantages of implementing direct Chinese teaching,and summarizes the direct teaching suggestions suitable for Thai students,and hopes to promote the development of Thai Chinese teaching.
