The Chinese teaching in Thailand has developed rapidly those days,the Chinese teacher’s demand in Thailand is increasing.There are also a lot of Chinese language teaching research for Thai students.how to according to local conditions,teach students in accordance of their aptitude is worthy of our research and analysis.through the four months internship experience and combined with the actual situation in Thailand,the author try to summarize and explore the Chinese teaching methods suitable for the elementary school students in zero-based.This paper can be divided into six main parts.The beginning of the paper is for the introduction. It’s divided into five parts,the fist part is the describes origins and the second part is talking about the related theories the next part is the introduction of the research methods and significance.the last part focus on the description of relevant research status.Chapter two mainly take the Damnoen Witthaya School as an example.analyzing the relevant situation of Chinese language teaching in Thailand primary school from two aspects,the school and the student.The follow chapters are the most important part in this thesis, chapter three and chapter four combining with the above analysis and my practical teaching experience in Thailand,the author detailed analyzed the application of the direct method and total physical response in practical teaching activities with case analysis.Chapter five mainly talking about the teaching effects of the direct method and the systemic reaction method in the specific teaching process and also summarized the strengths and weaknesses when these two teaching method applied to zero-based Thai Chinese learners in primary school.The last part is for advice.According to the difficulties and problems the author met when using those teaching methods in Thai primary school and the situation of primary school Chinese teaching and personality psychological characteristics of Thai students, the author put forward some advice for teaching to the teachers who will go to Thailand primary school to teach Chinese.Hope this thesis has the reference value for teaching the beginners in Thai primary school.
