With the deepening of China-Thailand exchanges,the Chinese language education in Thailand continues to develop,and many schools offer Chinese courses.The Trang Overseas Chinese School,located in a remote area of southern Thailand,is one of them.Although the school 's Chinese courses have been established for many years,there are still many deficiencies in actual teaching.This article mainly introduces the situation of Chinese teaching in Dongli Overseas Chinese School through three methods:field survey,questionnaire survey and interview.It is found that the school has Chinese language teaching:students have insufficient motivation to learn,use less time to communicate in Chinese,and have uneven Chinese proficiency in the same grade;teachers 'spoken language is greatly affected by the negative transfer of mother tongue,the lack of update of Chinese knowledge structure,less time to teach in Chinese The teaching method is single;the content of the textbook is outdated,lack of cultural knowledge,and lack of systematization;the school does not pay enough attention to Chinese,and the teaching equipment is in short supply.Furthermore,according to practical problems,we put forward targeted strategies,hoping to provide teaching reference for Chinese teachers in such schools,and hope to do our best for the development of Chinese teaching in this school.
