| Hua Shikui was a famous calligrapher in Tianjin from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.He was born in a famous family.Influenced by his family,he was very diligent in learning books.From the top to the top,from the bottom to the top,he was always on probation.He was especially famous for being good at Yan Kai.Hua Shikui experienced the collapse of the Qing Dynasty and the revolution of the Republic of China.He also served as an important position in the cabinet.After the death of the Qing Dynasty,he abandoned his official post and returned to his hometown.He lived in seclusion,devoted himself to studying calligraphy and poetry,and no longer cared about current affairs.Since then,although he has been invited to serve as an official of the Republic of China for many times,he was deeply attached to the old king and regarded himself as a "Qing Dynasty relic",and finally made outstanding achievements in calligraphy.This paper takes Hua Shikui’s calligraphy style as the main research object,through the analysis of the phenomenon of "worshiping beauty" in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,explains the pursuit of the calligraphy style of Yan style by some of the Qing Dynasty’s old men,and the calligraphy style of the times formed under the influence of the mentality of "Qing Dynasty’s old men".The paper is divided into four parts: the first part introduces the life of Hua Shikui,including his family background and the path of artistic pursuit.Through his contacts with Gao Lingwen,Zhang Yu and others,he reflected the aesthetic concepts of these old literati at that time,while his contacts with Feng Yuxiang reflected that he was recognized by warlords and politicians with new concepts at the same time.The second part is the elaboration of the style of Yan style calligraphy in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.It introduces the style of Yan style calligraphy in the prevailing environment of the late Qing Dynasty monument study,which represents the inheritance and conservative style of calligraphy,and is supported and pursued by the new and old schools.The reason is that Hua Shikui,as a representative of the style of Yan style calligraphy,is not blindly imitating the shape,but gradually becoming his own style.This can be confirmed by comparing Hua Shikui with Qian Feng,Weng Tonghe,Tan Yankai and other Yan style calligraphers.In the third part,Hua Shikui’s style of writing is divided into three periods: the youth period,the youth period and the middle and old age period.Different periods show different styles.Hua Shikui’s calligraphy style not only changes with age,but also is influenced by the times and the environment,especially the influence of the mentality of the "adherents" on his concept of "worshipping beauty" can not be ignored,thus forming its unique aesthetic characteristics.The fourth part is an objectiveevaluation of the historical position of Hua Shikui’s calligraphy in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.Through the specific analysis of Hua Shikui’s style of calligraphy,we can reflect the trend of the style of calligraphy in that era from a point of view,as well as the acceptance of the style of calligraphy by the literati class represented by the "Qing Dynasty adherents". |
