A Comparative Study Of Symphony 5.1 Surround Sound Pickup Systems

With the development of recording technology,5.1 surround sound recording technology has been widely used in many fields such as radio,television,film and television,games,but is still in the exploration stage in the field of music recording.At present,many domestic music recording industry practitioners have tried to produce surround sound works,but the understanding and application of surround sound recording systems are not thorough enough.In addition,there are many types of surround sound recording systems.In-depth comparative study of the performance characteristics of different surround sound recording systems.In the fourth sound Academy Award "Symphony surround sound on-site simultaneous recording workshop",a variety of 5.1 surround sound polar patterns were used to record the same Symphony "The Power of Destiny" simultaneously,which provides a very valuable material for this paper.In this paper,the background and work flow of the case are introduced in detail.Through the method of subjective listening evaluation experiment,the audio recorded by several 5.1 surround sound recording systems used in the case is tested subjectively.Combined with the objective surround sound technology theory,the sound image positioning,surround feeling and presence of the surround sound recording system are compared and analyzed.This paper summarizes the performance characteristics of different surround sound pickup system,and provides ideas and directions for the application and research of surround sound pickup system in the future.
