From "Lotus Lake" To "Exhortation"

Sun Li is an important writer in the history of Chinese literature in the 20 th century,and the series of novels of "Lotus Lake" are his representative works.There have been many important academic achievements in the research of "Lotus Lake" series novels,but usually they are only commented and studied as a whole.There is still a lack of more detailed and in-depth research on the process of the author’s creation of this series of novels and the changes in the artistic style and ideological connotation of the works.Therefore,by comparing and analyzing the similarities and differences between the two novels of "Lotus Lake" and "exhortation",this paper aims to reveal the ideological and artistic changes in the creation process of "Lotus Lake" series,and to explore the conscious creation adjustment and change of Sun Li in the creation process.The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction,which briefly describes the significance and purpose of the topic,the scope of the topic,and the research status.The second part is the main body of the paper,which is divided into two chapters.The first chapter analyzes the similarities and differences between the two novels in terms of the content of the story,the characterization of the characters and the ideological connotation.The second chapter analyzes the similarities and differences of artistic skills from the perspectives of expression and story structure.The third part is the conclusion,summing up the discussion of the whole paper,pointing out that the change of thoughts and art of the series of novels of "Lotus Lake" has an important change from romance to realism,which reflects the self adjustment and constant maturity of Sun Li’s creation.
