North Korean nuclear issue has gone through various forms of diplomatic efforts since its emergence,but it has never been resolved.With the continuous nuclear and missile tests by the DPRK,the tension on the peninsula has been frequently intensified,which has increased great difficulty in resolving North Korean nuclear issue.With the new round of U.S.-DPRK heads of state meeting held,the peaceful settlement of North Korean nuclear issue has taken another step forward.However,Rome was not built in a day.The resolution of North Korean nuclear issue involves many aspects.It requires all parties concerned to work together for the denuclearization of the peninsula and the maintenance of peace and stability on the peninsula.This paper will sort out the historical evolution process of North Korean nuclear issue,analyze the root cause of the deadlock on North Korean nuclear issue,explore the consensus and differences between China and the United States on North Korean nuclear issue according to China's and the United States' policy on North Korean nuclear issue,and put forward reasonable suggestions on China's future policy on North Korean nuclear issue.
