In recent years,with the rapid development of vocational education,the number and scale of Vocational Schools have occupied half of the Chinese general education.Nowadays,Chinese college students' employment has become increasingly grim and complex;especially the Vocational School students' employment situation is more serious.That's because,on one hand,the number of Chinese Ordinary Higher Institutions' graduates is rising year by year;on the other hand,the Chinese economy is in a stage of transformation and upgrading.Therefore,the Communist Party of China and our government attaches great importance to the development of vocational education and the employment of Vocational Schools,which have continuously issued a series of preferential policies and documents to support and promote the employment and entrepreneurship of graduates of Vocational Schools.However,the vocational guidance teachers who undertake the tasks of teaching career planning curriculum,professional counseling and guidance,and employment and entrepreneurship guidance,have not been paid more attention to by the Vocational Schools,society and our government,even the vocational guidance teachers themselves are not clear to their self-positioning.As a result,it directly leads to the facts that the professional development of vocational guidance teachers in Vocational Schools is not high and the theoretical research results in this field are relatively poor.Therefore,this paper argues that it is necessary to focus on vocational guidance teachers as the emerging group in Vocational Schools and to conduct in-depth research on the connotation.current situation and countermeasures of their professional development.That's because,under the current situation,strengthening the research of vocational guidance teachers' professionalization is not only the realistic need of solving employment problem of graduates,the urgent needs of the vocational guidance teachers' own development,but also the urgent need of improving the employment and entrepreneurial abilities and promoting their overall development.The author selected“Study on the present situation of vocational guidance teachers'professional development in Vocational Schools and its countermeasures" as the research object.By investigating the actual situation of vocational guidance teachers' professional development in a vocational school in Z city,the paper laid on key and comprehensive analyses of vocational guidance teachers' professional development status from their professional knowledge,professional skills,professional attitude,innovative pioneering consciousness,professional development way and present situation of satisfaction etc.As a result,the author finds out the real condition of its professional development.Based on it,it is creatively proposed that the strong sense of innovation and entrepreneurship is an important part of the professional development of vocational guidance teachers in Vocational Schools.Through analyzing the example,the thesis summarizes there are six major problems of vocational guidance teachers' professional development in Vocational Schools as follows:the career guidance teachers' professional knowledge is weak;professional guidance teachers' skills are not professional;vocational guidance teachers' professional attitude enthusiasm is not high;vocational guidance teachers'consciousness of innovation and entrepreneurship needs to be strengthened;vocational guidance teachers are not well structured,and professional guidance teachers' professional development path is not smooth.On the basis of it,the thesis analyzes the six factors restricting their professional development as follows:the vocational guidance teachers self positioning is not clear and has no strong sense of self-development;the correlation between professional background and vocational guidance is weak;the professional training of vocational guidance teachers is not systematic and effective;the professional management system of vocational guidance teachers is imperfect;colleges and government pay insufficient attention to it and relevant supporting policies follow up ineffective;career guidance teachers professional development lacks the corresponding standards.By mainly adopting the literature method,questionnaire method and interview method,the author has made an in-depth study of a vocational school in Z city on the basis of sufficient theoretical analysis and the accumulation of relevant materials.Firstly,35 vocational guidance teachers were given questionnaire pre-test and questionnaire project analysis,and according to the test results,the questionnaire was modified and improved.Secondly,a formal questionnaire survey was conducted for 42 career guidance teachers,and in-depth interviews were conducted for 3 of them.Thirdly,the SPSS and Excel statistical softwares were used to conduct scientific quantitative analyses of the questionnaires and interview data and the results were classified finally.In view of the profound analyses of the problems and restricting factors in the previous chapter,the thesis puts forward six countermeasures to promote the development of its specialization.They are,to clarify self-positioning and strengthen vocational guidance teachers'self-development awareness,to carry out systematic and effective professional training activities for vocational guidance teachers,to establish a scientific and reasonable assessment mechanism for vocational guidance teachers,to break the restriction of the system and improve the policy guarantee of professional development of vocational guidance teachers;to promulgate the professional development standards of vocational guidance teachers in Vocational Schools;to promote professional guidance teachers professional development by school-enterprise cooperation.
