The aesthetic imagination widely exists in the process of children's artistic appreciation,which is the improvisation of children's life.More and more attention has been paid to the aesthetic value of picture books,which has changed from the original picture-reading book to a work of art in which pictures and words talk and interweave with each other.The study on the aesthetic imagination in the process of reading picture books can provide suggestions for preschool teachers to effectively guide the reading activities of picture books and for parents and children to read together,as well as for protecting and developing children's aesthetic imagination.In this study,interview and observation were used to collect data of 24 children in primary,middle and large classes when they read three designated picture books,and discourse analysis was used to analyze the data,in an attempt to understand the overall characteristics and process characteristics of children's aesthetic imagination.On this basis,the researchers believe that:First,children's aesthetic imagination is a kind of free and independent,vivid and natural imagination.Children's aesthetic imagination is free and independent.It appears in the time point and the length of time free autonomy;In the content of the unrestrained,boundless,and by the children's independent decision,changeable;Freedom and autonomy in the means of transformation and form of expression.Children's aesthetic imagination is vivid.It is close to the formal characteristics of the object itself and concretes the contents not indicated in the object.Endow the object with life spirit and be good at grasping rhythm in narration.Children's aesthetic imagination is natural.It is both an immediate natural acquisition and a natural outpour of nature;Both simple and naive,and face the heart of the real.Secondly,children's aesthetic imagination is an adhesive structure with other aesthetic psychological elements.The aesthetic perception grasps picture books by means of selectivity,multi-channel,intuition and individuation,and selects rich,profound,simple and fresh aesthetic representations for aesthetic imagination.On the one hand,aesthetic association can provide direction for processing and transformation by effectively organizing the object relationship of picture books;on the other hand,it can seek new aesthetic representation for processing and transformation by actively contacting children's life experience.On the one hand,aesthetic emotion echoes the emotional expression of picture books,so that aesthetic imagination can obtain situational specificity;on the other hand,it infuses its own emotion into the content and form of picture books,so that aesthetic imagination reveals the spirituality of life.Thirdly,children's aesthetic imagination is a complex,comprehensive and dynamic psychological process.Children's aesthetic imagination enlivened,deformed and adhered aesthetic images in the process of multi-participation.When aesthetic image is formed,it gives comprehensive feedback to aesthetic perception,aesthetic association and aesthetic emotion by enlightening the continuation of aesthetic psychological elements and deepening the results of aesthetic psychological elements.From the perspective of aesthetic response theory,children's aesthetic imagination makes up for the vitality of this paper through active construction,empathetic immersion through "implied readers",and dynamic transformation through shifting viewpoints,thus making up for the blankness of this picture book.Finally,in the process of children's picture book reading,adults can protect and develop children's aesthetic imagination from the following aspects:Second,to provide children with rich life experience and aesthetic picture books;Three,for children to leave enough time to read,into the imagination of the situation and circumstances;Four,for the children's reading"blank",provide a new aesthetic horizon.
