Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)exploits the principle of synthetic aperture and pulse compression technology to overcome the limitation of azimuth resolution of the antenna aperture to achieve high-resolution imaging of long-range targets with all-weather and all-day characteristics.In recent years,with the improvement of SAR imaging quality and imaging resolution,signal acquisition system in SAR imaging have been put forward higher requirements and require large capacity and large bandwidth storage systems.This paper used airborne synthetic aperture radar signal acquisition system as the experimental background,designed and implemented a high-speed mass storage and transmission system based on eMMC array.This paper mainly carried out the following aspects:Firstly,the demand of radar signal acquisition system was analyzed and the overall design scheme of high-speed mass storage and transmission system based on eMMC array was given.This paper took FPGA chip as the main controller,used USB3.0,Gigabit Ethernet and optical interface as an external data interface,and used eight eMMC chip array with 32 Gigabyte as a storage medium to achieve the hardware card design The design of the system block diagram was given.Then according to the transmission timing of the FT601 chip in the USB3.0 module,realized the transmission channel between the USB3.0 interface and the FPGA host.After that,this paper researched eMMC5.0 chip protocol,designed the structure and workflow of eMMC controller,and implemented eMMC array based high-speed storage system for eMMC controller.Afterwards,the transmission loop and speed test of USB3.0 transmission channel were carried out.The modules of eMMC controller were modeled under Modelsim software platform.At last,eMMC array storage system has been verified on FPGA.The high-speed mass storage and transmission system designed in this paper has been tested and verified that the data writing speed can reach 750MB/s and the storage space of the storage system can reach 256GB,meeting the requirements of SAR signal storage system.
