| Some new iron-zircon pigments were prepared by processes containing pre-milling and/or pre-calcination steps. These pigments yield better color strength than current commercial pigments. The results produced in the oxygen free atmosphere also hint the possibility of two formation mechanisms for the iron-zircon pigments. |
