Global Molybdenum Ore Resource Distribution And Resource Potential Analysis

Molybdenum is widely used as a chemical raw material,it is a non-renewable important strategic resource,the development and utilization of molybdenum resources related to the national economic development and strategic needs.The thesis based on the �Global molybdenum ore resources distribution and resource potential analysis�,is on the basis of collection of data and statistics,to carry out global molybdenum mineral resources distribution studies,induction of the classification,spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of molybdenum resource.Furthermore,the thesis summarizes the metallogenic regularity of molybdenum deposits,and finally delineation of the resource perpective area,which combine with the exploration and development situation to carry on the appraisal to the prospective area,to provide advice to the "going out" strategy of national resources.According to statistics of 2016,molybdenum ore reserves of the world is about 15 million ton,98% of molybdenum reserves are mainly concentrated in Asia,North America and South America.Based on the previous resesrch,porphyry molybdenum deposit is the most important exploitation of deposits,its reserves and output ranked first in the world,molybdenum metal is the main source and combined with 34 large molybdenum deposit metallogenic epoch and spatial distribution,The metallogenic times of molybdenum ores are mainly distributed in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic,and concentrated on the continental rim and the arc Zone of the Pacific Rim,the new reference-Himalayan tectonic-magmatic zone and the Paleo-Asian ocean rim.Comprehensive analysis and formulate the rules of delineating the resources potential distribution area,we delineated 14 potential distribution areas: Canada Southeast potential area,Central Asia potential area,Mongolia potential area,China Northeast potential area,China North North margin potential area,China East Qinling potential area,West Asia potential area,China Southwest potential area,Canada West potential area,American West potential area,Mexico Southwe st potential area,South American west potential area,China nanling potential area,and molybdenum ore prospecting in Eastern Australia.The strategy of "goinh out" of molybdenum resources of China is put forward,which is based on the distribution characteristics of the resource area and the resource potential area,and the metallogenic characteristics and metallogenic regularity of the molybdenum ore resources,combined with the prospect area where the country's investment environment,and tightly bound to China's "along the way" to lay out stategy.Central Asia,Western Asia and South America potential area has a large number of the molybdenum ore sesources,easy for exploration,and the investment is good,so it's suitable for improting resources from the potential area.East Qinling,Northeast potential area has been an important source of supply,will eventually confronted with the limited resources,so we should increase the intensity of exploration and development.
