In recent years,with the rapid development of human society and science and technology,the world population has gradually increased,and with the continuous advancement of industrialization and urbanization,the geological environment for human beings has been deteriorating,and the environmental geological problems that are restricting urban development have become more and more prominent.Therefore,the evaluation of geological environment quality can lay the foundation and provide the basis for improving the living environment and urban construction planning,so it has important practical significance.In this paper,based on the second-level project of China geological survey ‘investigation of ground fissures and geo-hazard in the Weinan area,Guanzhong Basin' taking the 1:50,000 topographic map of Xuzhuang Town,Dali County,Shanxi Province as the base map,on the basis of hydrological-engineering-environmental geology survey,through geophysical exploration,drilling,trenching,field in-situ testing,geotechnical testing and water quality analysis,etc,having mastered the geological environment conditions such as topography and landforms,stratum lithology,rock and soil types,engineering geological properties and hydrogeological condition in the investigation area.The main environmental geological problems such as active faults,loess collapsing,sand liquefaction,ground fissures,groundwater pollution and soil salinization were identified.The main environmental geological problems obtained are as follows: there are five active faults found in the investigation area,all of which are active faults of late Pleistocene;the Luohe second and third level terraces and Weihe second and third level terraces in the investigation area are mainly level I(slight)Non-self-weight subsidence,most of the loess terraces are second-level(medium)self-weight subsidence;22 structural fissures and 29 non-structural ground fissures were found in the survey area.Through on-site investigation and comprehensive analysis,selecting 12 geological environmental qualities evaluation index: landform type,terrain slope,fault activity,collapse landslide disaster,ground fissure disaster,loess subsidence,sand liquefaction,groundwater pollution,soil salinization,human engineering activities,agricultural irrigation and solid waste,using AHP to establish the geological environment evaluation system.Then Yaahp analytic software is used to determine the weight of eachevaluation index,and Arc GIS software is used to superimpose and analyze each evaluation index.Realized the zoning and evaluation of the geological environment quality of Xuzhuang town map-sheet,the survey area is divided into four grade areas: best geological environment quality area,better geological environment quality area,worse geological environment quality area and worst geological environment quality area.By comparing and analyzing the results of the geological environment quality assessment in the survey area with the results of the field survey,it was found that the results of this evaluation are basically consistent with the actual situation.It shows that the selected evaluation method and evaluation index are reasonable and feasible,which has important reference significance for urban construction planning and geological environmental protection in this area.
