Soil Geochemical Anomalies And Gold Ore Prospecting In Jiufeng Mining Area,Tonggu,Jiangxi Province

Based on the systematic analysis of geological background for the regional gold ore mineralization and the summary of the regional gold ore mineralization rules,this work finds soil geochemical anomalies through soil geochemical surveys in the Jiufeng mining area of Tonggu County,Jiangxi Province.Gold mineralized bodies are found through anomaly verification.A preliminary study of soil geochemical exploration characteristics,metallogenic geological characteristics,and ore-controlling factors in the Jiufeng mining area is conducted.A possible metallogenic model of the gold deposit in the district has been proposed and the prospecting potential of gold deposits in the area also evaluated.The main results are as follows :1.1: 10,000 soil geochemical survey is carried out in the Jiufeng mining area.Combined with the analysis of the characteristic parameters of the mineralizing elements and the geological multivariate statistical analysis,the box-and-whisker plot method is used to determine the lower limit of element anomaly and the single-element anomalies,and then the two Au-As-Sb composite anomalies are confirmed.The geochemical anomaly of the soil coincides with the position of the gold mineralization exposed by the trench and tunnel exploration project.The delineated comprehensive anomaly has guiding significance for gold prospecting in the Jiufeng mining area.2.The gold mineralized body exposed by the project is located in the altered and fractured zone beside the ductile shear zone and is controlled by the latter.The typical gold deposits and regional metallogenic rules are compared and analyzed,and it can be considered that the Jiufeng gold deposit is sructural alteration rock type one According to the analysis of Au / Ag ratio of the gold mineralized bodies,it is preliminarily considered that the mineralized bodies exposed by the current project still has a large extension to the deep and that the area has a good prospect for gold ore prospecting.
