At present,gene editing technology is developing rapidly,showing great application value in the fields of agriculture,industry,and biomedicine.At the same time,it has attracted the attention of scholars from all walks of life.A large number of companies and funds have poured in rapidly,creating a good development environment for it.However,due to high expectations of gene editing technology and insufficient understanding of the technical level,the frequent occurrence of technology abuse has caused great social controversy and brought huge obstacles to the development of gene editing technology.Therefore,monitoring the development status of gene editing technology and understanding the maturity level of the technology is the key to ensuring the healthy development of the technology and making it better serve the society.Based on the above problems,the specific research content of this paper is as follows.First,analyze the feasibility of sentiment classification in gene editing literature abstracts to determine the research basis.According to the semantic characteristics of geneedited literature abstracts,collect classified corpus used to distinguish scholars' expectations of technological development.Adopt the Word2 Vec word vector model and the improved word contribution(TC)method based on information entropy adjustment parameters to construct weighted word vectors,and input it into the bidirectional long-short-term memory artificial neural network(Bi-LSTM)to train and optimize the sentiment classification model.Secondly,the trends of patent application and paper publication of gene editing are analyzed systematically.Use the sentiment classification model to judge the author's sentiment tendency in the abstract of gene-edited papers,and calculate the number of journal articles that are effective under the influence of emotional factors,and fit the "bell-shaped" curve with an improved bibliometric method.With the help of patent analysis,count the cumulative number of patent applications in the same time period and fit the "S" curve.After that,the two curves are combined to further construct a Hype-Cycle-like curve,and the maturity of gene editing technology is predicted from the dimensions of basic science and technology research and development.Finally,through empirical research,verify the validity and reliability of the proposed method,evaluate and predict the maturity level of gene editing technology and provide effective suggestions for the development of gene editing technology.
