Artificial intelligence is dedicated to simulating,expanding and extending human intelligence.Since its birth in 1956 as an independent discipline,AI has formed three fields of research:Symbolism,Connectionism and Actionism.Rationalism is supreme in the first wave of AI.Then Empiricism overwhelming Rationalism,Connectionism dominates AI research.With Deep learning and NLP,the current research is a combination of Rationalism and Empiricism.Hype Cycle from Gartner provides evaluation criteria and analysis tools to AI research.The rapid development of AI in recent years is mainly due to breakthroughs in Deep Learning and Artificial Emotion.Deep learning driven by big data and cloud computing will continue to play an exponential role in AI.And intelligent emotion and artificial brain program will combine artificial intelligence with brain neuroscience,which will affect medical treatment,education and scientific research.As the forefront of science and technology,AI not only affects all aspects of society,but also relates to the fate of human beings.It needs to think and respond to the effects of artificial intelligence technology innovation and its questions from the perspective of science and technology philosophy.The innovation of artificial intelligence may be confronted with internal risks and external threats from the perspective of sociology of technology,and it still takes a long time to achieve true intelligence.For the relationship between AI and human beings,the threat theorists discuss the future of artificial intelligence and human beings from the perspective of technological singularity,they argue that artificial intelligence will eventually surpass and threaten human survival.Human and artificial intelligence will be deeply integrated from a technological perspective in the foreseeable future.The concern for the future should not exceed the basic research on technological innovation in the current weak artificial intelligence phase.The human subjectivity is inviolable,in addition,the security and ethical principles must be considered in the innovation of artificial intelligence technology.
