The abandoned dreg site is an important auxiliary construction of highway construction and tunnel construction. At present,China's rapid development in economic construction, the corresponding highway, tunnels and other infrastructure has also been further developed,in recent years, more and more highway tunnels built. The demand for abandoned dreg site also increases accordingly.abandoned dreg site is a complex structure of artificial buildings. In recent years, tailings pond, dump, abandoned dreg site and other artificial buildings have been destroyed, causing great losses. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the safety of slag disposal site. This paper analyzes the stability of a abandoned dreg site in Hebei Province.Security is analyzed from three aspects:(1)Considering the stability under natural conditions, judge whether the instability failure occurs, add safety factor analysis on this basis, obtain the safety factor, and judge the stability;(2)Considering the stability in extreme cases, this paper considers the stability analysis under the action of the earthquake with the peak acceleration of 0.2 g.By loading three kinds of seismic waves, the safety factor is used to judge whether the instability occurs;(3)Considering the harm brought by the instability of the abandoned dreg site to the downstream, the landslide analysis is added to determine the severity of the impact on the downstream caused by the instability.Numerical simulation was carried out for the above three aspects respectively, and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)Under the action of gravity alone, the displacement deformation of the abandoned dreg site is very small, and the deformation will not affect the stability of the abandoned dreg site; The stress distribution conforms to the general soil stress distribution law and increases gradually from top to bottom. The value of plastic strain is also very small, and the abandoned dreg site will not produce landslide.By comparing the above three kinds of analysis,it is found that the deformation value at the junction of the top surface and the third step of the abandoned dreg site is larger than the other positions, that is,it is determined to be the danger point.(2)The static stability analysis of the abandoned dreg site shows that the safety factor under static conditions is 1.85,which is greater than the specified safety factor of the abandoned dreg site, and the abandoned dreg site is in a safe state.Meanwhile, the displacement field corresponding to different reduction coefficients is analyzed, and the location of the failure surface(sliding surface)is determined by combining with the plastic transfixion zone corresponding to the instability failure when the abandoned dreg site reaches the safety factor limit, providing reference for subsequent analysis.(3)In the seismic dynamic analysis, three kinds of seismic waves are added to conduct stability analysis.Through the judgment method of safety factor in the paper,it is determined that the abandoned dreg site is in a safe state under the action of three kinds of seismic waves.Through the analysis of the magnification coefficient of the abandoned dreg site under the action of earthquake, the relationship between the magnification coefficient and the height is observed. The smaller the height is,the smaller the magnification coefficient is.With the increase of the height, the magnification coefficient increases gradually.(4)Static analysis and dynamic analysis found that abandoned dreg site averaging is in safe condition and considering the abandoned dreg site in case of landslides, cause immeasurable loss,so introduce abandoned dreg site of landslide analysis, through the analysis of the flow speed and scope of submerged judgment will cause significant influence to the local,it is concluded that it will not cause significant impact and damage to the local.
