With the development of the global satellite navigation system and the continuous innovation of navigation technology,the GPS navigation system has also entered a new period of modernization.In recent years,a new generation of satellites such as Block IIF and Block IIIF have been launched.In the newly launched GPS satellites The GPS L5 signal is added to further improve the stability of the signal and the positioning accuracy of the user.The GPS L5 satellite signal simulator can generate real GPS L5 satellite signals received by the front end of a dynamic or static receiver antenna.As an indispensable part of GPS L5 navigation receiver performance testing,GPS L5 satellite signal simulator can provide reproducible GPS L5 satellite signals for receiver performance and technical indicator verification.The research focus of this design is the design and implementation of the GPS L5 satellite signal simulator.From the perspective of the GPS L5 signal system and the principle of signal generation,the signal generation mathematical model of the GPS L5 satellite signal simulator is given.Subsequently,the key technologies used in the simulator development process were studied,such as FEC convolutional coding of navigation messages,satellite spatial position calculation,signal space propagation delay calculation,error model calculation,pseudorange real-time calculation,intermediate frequency signal generation,etc.Then based on the ZYNQ-7020 baseband signal processing hardware platform,the overall design plan of the GPS L5 satellite signal simulator and the implementation method of specific modules are given,focusing on the ARM information processing module and FPGA digital baseband intermediate frequency signal generation module.The specific design process and implementation method.Finally,the design and implementation of the GPS L5 satellite signal simulator was completed on the ZYNQ-7020 hardware platform,and different receivers were used to complete the evaluation of the performance and signal accuracy errors of the GPS L5 satellite signal simulator.By analyzing the positioning data after the receiver receives the GPS L5 satellite signal simulator signal,it is finally concluded that the GPS L5 satellite signal simulator designed in this paper based on the ZYNQ-7020 hardware platform can achieve the expected functions and technical indicators,and meet the design requirements.
