With the advancement of modern science,the research on objects on the surface of the earth can no longer meet the growing needs of mankind.Since the last century,scientists have gradually focused their attention on the field of astronomy.my country has been committed to the development of national science and technology.The VLBI(Very Long Baseline Interferometry)antenna is a major scientific research project based on the cooperation between the National Astronomical Observatory and our unit.Our unit is mainly responsible for completing the antenna system part of the project.The antenna is the mechanical part of the entire antenna system,supporting and receiving electromagnetic waves for the entire system.Whether its structural design is reasonable or not directly affects the research of radio astronomy observations.This paper takes the antenna structure as the research object,and carries out a series of works such as structural design,mechanical simulation analysis,and engineering practice verification.First,according to the scientific research needs of the National Astronomical Observatory for cosmic bodies and deep space exploration,the current status and development trend of VLBI network at home and abroad,as well as the development trend and current status of radio telescopes at home and abroad are analyzed.Secondly,according to the working performance characteristics of the radio telescope,through the comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the antenna structure at home and abroad,the antenna structure design plan was finally determined,and the antenna structure was carried out to carry out the three-dimensional modeling work.Thirdly,the strength and rigidity of the antenna structure directly affects the pointing tracking accuracy of the radio telescope.Therefore,after the antenna structure design is completed,the operating conditions are classified according to the load of the telescope in different working environments,and the Hyper Works software is used to simulate and analyze the antenna structure.The strength and stiffness of the antenna structure and the displacement of the reference point are checked,and the results meet the technical indicators.Finally,after the antenna structure is manufactured and assembled,we use industrial photogrammetry and laser tracker to collect the point cloud of the antenna structure,and use the SA(Spatial Analyzer)software to perform common point conversion and data processing on the point cloud.The obtained results and the mechanical simulation results coincide to meet the requirements of the project.
