Construction Of Urban Police Geographic Information System Based On PGIS

Geographic information system is a specific application of geographic information with the development of computer technology and information technology,and finally forms a geographic information system.With the deepening of the application of GIS in the field of police,there are great differences in practical applications,which hinders the further development of GIS in the field of public security.Therefore,the police department has developed the police geographic information system platform specification,namely PGIS,to support and standardize the development and application of the whole police geographic information system.The construction of urban geographic information system is an important link and foothold for promoting the information management digitalization,intelligent application of information and real-time information sharing.In this paper,based on the PGIS structure of the city region police geographic system as the main content.First,we briefly introduce the concepts of geographic information,geographic information system,police geographic information system and PGIS platform,as well as the development status of our industry at home and abroad.From the perspective of macro demand,this paper analyzes the main contents of constructing the urban geographic information system,namely forming a set of standard system,developing a platform software,building two basic supporting environments,and building three geographic information databases.At the same time,detailed database requirements and main functional requirements are refined,and the basic principles of system construction are also discussed.In the construction of PGIS platform,the overall architecture of PGIS is discussed,and the selection and suggestion of hardware and software configuration are given from two aspects of hardware and software.Data is the core resource of geographic information system,and this paper gives a detailed introduction to the construction of data.First,analyzes the basic requirements of data construction,pointed out that the police integrated geographic information system database construction mainly includes the police geographic information database,standard address database and business association database of three parts;the construction of police basic geographic information data is given in detail the contents and methods of the construction of standard address data gives the actual construction often face the the implementation method and collection storage and update process for business related data construction,introduces four methods;finally,some functions of business data above construction.The construction of a city police geographic information system is given at the end of this paper to "City Public Security Bureau police geographic construction system in the actual population application" as an example from the actual development and application perspective,gives the key configuration platform of PGIS and the implementation content,the actual application of the population query map presentation.
