The development of road asset management has experienced a certain period of history.In China,to catch up with foreign countries,the way of foreign introduction and independent research and development is adopted.At present,the research of road asset management system for pavement has been very mature,but the attention paid to roadside asset management is not enough,and scholars have done little research,which leads to the lack of mainstream management framework and formation of a mature management system.At the same time,the management of roadside assets in the new era will move towards the direction of digital management,so how to obtain the position and posture information of roadside assets and carry out digital management is the key problem in roadside assets management.This paper studies the digital management of roadside assets,and puts forward a brief framework of roadside assets management.Vehicle mounted 3D laser scanning technology is a data acquisition technology with high precision,strong anti-interference ability and high efficiency.And it is feasible to use vehicle mounted 3D laser scanning technology in roadside asset management.The research process of this paper is scanning the roadside assets with the vehicle borne lidar first,and then fitting the lidar data to restore the attitude information of the roadside assets to the greatest extent and managing them.In the data fitting,the total least square method is used to eliminate errors,and GPS(Global Positioning System)technology and GIS(Geographic Information System)technology are combined to manage the position and orientation information of roadside assets.For roadside asset management,three kinds of roadside assets,including street lamp,signboard and tunnel,are selected.These three kinds of roadside assets belong to spatial straight line,spatial plane and spatial curved surface in spatial expression,which are representative.And the digital management framework of these kinds of roadside assets is studied.When dealing with the data of street lamp and signboard,the data information is not only managed,but also compared with the actual situation,which is used as the verification of the effectiveness of the research method and the basis of accuracy evaluation.On the basis of accuracy evaluation,the data collection and processing of the point cloud on the inner arch surface of the tunnel are completed,so as to achieve the effect of dynamic inspection of the tunnel.Aiming at the problem of digital management,the total least square method was used to fit the data of street lamp and signboard,get the direction vector of street lamp and the normal vector of signboard,and calculate the angle with the ground.It is found that the error of the results is less than 3%,so the accuracy is enough,and the research method is effective and the feasibility of the framework is verified.And the vehicle laser scanning method is more efficient than manual detection,and the data acquisition is more convenient.When the inner arch surface of the tunnel is treated as a space curved surface,the equal interval cross-section data are selected according to the vehicle borne lidar data for processing,and the statistical analysis of the processing results shows that after years of use,the horizontal displacement of the tunnel changes more than the net height displacement.According to the displacement and deformation velocity,the condition evaluation value is obtained.Combined with GPS position information,these information is loaded in the form of layer in QGIS for management.
