Research On Project Performance Control Chart Based On EWMA Method

In the actual project management,whether the project can be completed successfully has always been the goal of much attention.The traditional view holds that project success is a multi-dimensional structure,which is related to the time and cost of project completion,that is,the degree of project delivery on time within the budget.Based on this background,starting from the basic idea of EWMA,this paper focuses on monitoring the performance of time and cost components in project,weighting their current and past values,and detecting the relevant changes of EWMA statistics.The control limits at different times are obtained by randomly simulating the incontrol state,and the out of control state is randomly simulated to test the monitoring effect of the control chart.Compared with the traditional univariate Shewhart control chart and multivariate Hotelling T~2control chart,it is found that the multivariate EWMA control chart has high sensitivity in monitoring small shift and can detect changes quickly and accurately,So that the team can find problems in time and ensure the smooth delivery of the project.
