In July 2014,the State Council approved the implementation of the "Pearl River-West River Economic Belt Development Plan"(here in after referred to as the "Plan"),which has ushered in a rare opportunity for the coordinated development of regional economy in South China. The "Planning" attaches great importance to the development of tourism in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt, and proposes an overall development pattern: planning the spatial layout of "one axis, two cores, four clusters, and extension areas",focusing on building a comprehensive transportation road, building the Pearl River-West River ecological corridors, establish a tourism front alliance, and create characteristic boutique routes.Since the implementation of the "Planning",the tourism economy of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt has developed rapidly, but the regional development varies greatly. In order to improve the tourism environment of the Pearl River-West River and promote the coordinated development of the regional tourism economy, this paper studies the spatial spillover effect of tourism economy in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt. This paper takes 11 cities in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt as the research object,on the basis of the production function theory, the three production factors of capital, labor and science and technology are selected, and other factors that have a certain influence on the development of tourism economy, such as urban population, economic development level, degree of opening to the outside world, and industrial structure, are added to study the spatial spillover effect.Firstly, the exploratory spatial analysis of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt is carried out,and the global and local spatial correlation test is carried out by using the Moran index. Then use LM test,R-LM test, hausman test and LR test to select the model. Finally, this paper selects the SDM model under the spatial fixed effect to analyze the spatial spillover effect of the regional tourism economy in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt.On this basis, the effect decomposition of the spatial spillover effect of the Pearl RiverWest River Economic Belt was further carried out,and the spatial spillover effect was measured and analyzed from three perspectives: total effect, direct effect and indirect effect, and obtained the level of economic development and the degree of opening to the outside world.,capital investment, industrial structure, science and technology, and tourism reception facilities have positive spillover effects on the development of tourism economy in the Pearl River-West River region;traffic conditions have a negative spillover effect on the development of tourism economy in the Pearl River-West River region The factors of urban population, tourism resource endowment, labor force and government investment are not significant in promoting the development of regional tourism economy. Finally, this paper gives some suggestions for the regional tourism economy of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt from five aspects: optimizing the tourism transportation system, cultivating high-quality tourism practitioners, increasing investment in science and technology, exerting the radiation effect of economic growth in central cities, and rationally controlling government investment.
