Research On Digital Twin From The Perspective Of Computationalism

Digital twin is the main frontier technology of digital intelligence strategy at present,and has a broad application prospect,but the philosophical problems in it are still lack of due attention.In view of the fact that the interdisciplinary study of digital twinning is still in its infancy and the trend of the convergence of cutting-edge technologies is just emerging,a unified and enlightening philosophical perspective is needed to examine the development of technology and provide a broader perspective.Based on digital twin as the research object,this paper based on the computational perspective,focusing on digital technology of digital twin "interaction" to realize the evolution of different levels,based on the digital twin expounds the connotation,characteristic and the analysis of the concept of twin how to be a continuous spiral type of digital development of cutting-edge technology and explore the philosophy behind the promise.This paper is divided into four chapters: The first part is the introduction,expounds the purpose and significance of the topic and research status at home and abroad;The first chapter mainly analyzes the connotation and characteristics of digital twin technology.From chapter two to chapter four,we systematically examine the ontological promise of digital twinism,analyze the assumptions and limitations of algorithmic(or symbolic)computationism,put forward and demonstrate the proposition of information-computationism,and examine the evolution of digital twinism in its early,present and future stages from this perspective.The focus of this paper is a philosophical defense of digital twin technology based on information-computationism.The novel conclusion is that digital twin technology has great potential and openness,and its realization depends on the growth of computing power and technological breakthrough.And information-computationism,which has "ontological equivalence" as the core between virtual and reality at the information-computing level,can provide a strong philosophical support for the validity,reliability and development prospect of digital twin technology.
