500 D polyester filament had a high crystallinity.Oxford cloth,weaved by 500 D polyester filament,had high tensile strength,tear strength and good weather resistance.As military tents and camouflage net fabric,500 D polyester filament Oxford cloth had wide application prospects in the field of military and civilian fabric.Because the 500 D polyester filament fabric had a high crystallinity and smooth surface.When it was used for camouflage printing,many technical difficulties existed,such as printing paste was difficult to spread and penetrate on the canvas,printing paste adhered to the halftone easily,color and printing def inition were difficult to control.Therefore,studying how to solve the problems in the process of printing,had a very important signif icance to achieve 500 D polyester filament Oxford cloth application in the field of military and civil.Solid content,film forming rate and anti-UV property of 6 kinds of adhesives were studied.To explore the relationship between the size of adhesive emulsion,paint and color friction fastness,size of the adhesive emulsion and paint particle were tested.The results show that the thickener DM-5230 has good thickening efficiency and rheological properties,the viscosity of paste thickening process is easy to control.Adhesive WF has a high solid content containing and moderate film forming rate,which is conducive to alleviate the problem of paste trawling,plugging in the printing process,and the effect of anti-UV.When adhesive WF 200~300 g/L was used,UV transmittance is only 0.6.Adhesive WF emuls ion particle size distributes in the near 100 nm,printing color friction fastness is better than other adhesives.To improve the hydrophilicity and printing performance of the fabric,fabric was treated by padding the enhanced adhesion agent and nonionic penetrant mixed solution.The result shows that when adhesion enhancer 30 g/L was used,the color friction fastness of printed fabric reaches4-5.Compared to the fabric without treatment of adhesion enhancement agent,friction fastness improved 1 level.When penetrant 40 g/L was used,the hydrophilicity of fabric highly improved.A drop of water wetting the fabric surface completely only needs 3.2 s,but fabric without pretreatment needs 56 s.The former treatment agent using the formula: adhesive enhancer 30 g/L,penetrating agent 40 g/L.The hydrophilic polymer surfactant 9879 was used to modify the pigment printing paste.K/S,friction fastness and SEM were tested.The results showed that with the increasing amount of 9878,slurry spreading on the surface of polyester fabric was being easily,and the problem of printing paste adhering to the halftone easily were improved.Meanwhile the friction fastness increased with the increasing amount of 9878.When hydrophilic polymer surfactant 9878 50 g/L was used in the printing paste,the printing problem was improved,and dry friction fastness 4-5,wet friction fastness 4..Through the tests of monochromatic infrared spectra of paint black,dark green,medium green,green and yellow,some rules were found out.With the help of L,a,b value,the visible light and near infrared camouflage printing formula was explored and adjusted,and finally the pigment printing formula of visible light near infrared stealth effect in the 600~ 900 nm was determined.The properties of the camouflage printed fabric were tested.The result shows that the dry friction fastness is 4 to 5,wet friction fastness is 3-4,color fastness to light is greater than 6,the fastness to washing is 4-5,and meanwhile printed fabric has excellent anti-UV and antistatic effect.The functional f inish on the back of the fabric was based on the camouflage printed fabric.The emissivity,heat resistance,flame retardant and hydrostatic pressure properties were tested.The results showed that when the aluminum 25% was used in first coating,flame retardant agent30% in second coating,ceramic beads 30% in third coating,the finished camouflage fabrics,not only has the visible and near infrared stealth effect,surface emissivity also reduced from 0.985 to about 0.750,the fabric flame retardant reached B2 level,the thermal conductivity of fabric is only0.11 W/m.K,hydrostatic pressure up to 21 k Pa.Through the selection of adhesive,fabric pretreatment agent formula,using hydrophilic silicone 9878 to modify the surface of pigment,500 D Oxford polyester filament fabric was printed successfully.A series of problems during printing processes was improved.The fabric was given a variety of functions through functional coating finishing,which reached the functional requirements of the fabric design.
