In the field of traditional steel trade circulation,retail sector share to account for more than 50 %,but it needs to go through agents,middlemen,service providers from steel mills to end users.The links are numerous,resulting in low efficiency,high end-use steel costs.Company A is a steel e-commerce platform,mainly around the " match + consignment" platform business model,reducing the circulation of steel trade links,providing service to upstream and downstream customers by restructuring the steel trade system.However,due to the single business platform,low user viscosity and many other issues,company A is difficult to achieve sustained and stable profits in the current business model.Therefore,in this article,author used the literature research method,qualitative and quantitative analysis to deeply analysis the business model of company A.The purpose is to find out the value-added strategy of company A’s business model,and give specific implementation scheme and effect evaluation.Firstly,the article mainly analyze company A’s current business model,reveal the main problems.Secondly,according to the existing problems,the paper puts forward some value-added strategy according to the actual market demand research,analyzes the market space of value-added services,and estimates the profit space.Finally,a concrete implementation plan was developed and the impact of the implementation was evaluated.The research results of this paper mainly have two aspects: first,at the theoretical level,it analyzes the current business model of company A and the existing problems,and suggests that company A can increase the value-added services of warehouse logistics and supply chain finance on the basis of the existing model in order to improve and optimize the current business model.Second,in the application level,in view of the value-added strategy of company A,the specific implementation plan has also achieved good results in the actual application,improving the profitability and comprehensive competitiveness of the platform effectively.Through the study of the business model value-added strategy of Company A,it also has some reference and guidance significance to other enterprises in the steel e-commerce.The market space of the steel trade circulation link is huge,the future steel business platform will be able to reconstruct the steel trade system and build the steel ecological closed loop,and its outlook will be very positive. |
