This paper is an important sub topics of Shanxi science and technology major special project "state monitoring and life cycle management system development of coal mine major production equipment based on the Internet of things",project number: 20131101029,this topic is dedicated to solve the problem that the existing belt conveyor data transmission system is single,backward and low intelligent.Belt conveyor as an important part of coal production,its safe and stable operation plays an important role in the overall development level of the coal industry.In order to avoid the belt conveyor deviation,slip,tear and other faults caused by the coal production and personal losses,a number of belt conveyor monitoring systems have been developed at home and abroad.At present,the research on its core link,data transmission mode,is uneven at home and abroad.Most of them have the disadvantages of poor compatibility,backward and single transmission mode.In this paper,three main data transmission modes are adopted,which combine the CAN bus communication of the wired transmission mode with the RS-485 bus communication and the Bluetooth mesh networking technology of the wireless transmission mode.The wireless sensor supporting the belt conveyor is developed,and a data transmission system of the belt conveyor with strong compatibility and high intelligence is developed.It is of great significance for the steady development of monitoring and control system of belt conveyor in the future.This paper investigates the working process of belt conveyor and the operation mode of related sensors,studies the detection methods of various faults,and summarizes the monitoring and control quantities of the system.According to the research results,the research and development scheme of wireless sensor,the intelligent networking scheme of wireless sensor and the overall design scheme of ultra long distance transmission are developed.According to the design scheme of the system,a variety of switch output wireless sensors and digital output wireless environment temperature sensors are developed based on wireless dual deviation sensors,and the following host wireless networking host completes the intelligent networking of multiple wireless sensors.On the basis of completing the intelligent networking of wireless sensors,the communication lines of CAN bus and RS-485 bus with ultra long distance transmission capability are developed,including the hardware circuit design,software programming and interface design of upper computer,including upper computer,management module along the line,input and output module,voice alarm module and lower computer module.Finally,the experimental platform of the belt conveyor data transmission system is built in the laboratory,and the performance evaluation of the three data transmission modes is indirectly completed through the test of some functions of the system.The performance of the developed wireless sensor is tested,including fault response speed,limit transmission distance and limit standby time.The experimental results show that the data transmission system of belt conveyor has the advantages of fast data transmission speed,high accuracy,high intelligence,excellent performance of the developed wireless sensor,and meets the technical requirements of practical application.
