As a branch of enamel craft,transparent enamel is favored by artists for its unique light transmittance.As early as during the "art nouveau" movement,transparent enamel craft was pursued by jewelry artists at that time because it followed the natural and organic decorative style of the "art nouveau" movement.Through the new concept of modern jewelry art combined with the traditional transparent enamel process,this paper tries to explore the feasibility of transparent enamel process in modern jewelry design.From pervious to light the enamel craft characteristic and the existing of art appreciation,explore the pervious to light the application of the enamel craft in modern jewelry design should be its unique pervious to light quality,different from other craft jewelry miniature sculpture concept,based on the transmission characteristics of pervious to light the enamel,with the relationship between light and space in building harmony,make transparent enamel jewelry three-dimensional at the same time,combining the modern architectural design to use the concept of light rendering space character.By combining the design of transparent enamel with light and shadow,and by means of the exploration of spatial modeling,the transparent enamel technology maximizes the characteristics of transparent enamel in jewelry design.
