Titanium alloy has high specific strength,high specific stiffness,heat resistance,corrosion resistance,and excellent low temperature performance,so it is favored by the aviation industry,aerospace industry,shipbuilding industry,automobile industry and other fields.With the continuous development of precision and micro-manufacturing technology,industrial products are becoming more and more miniaturized.This subject focuses on the basic problems of titanium alloy microstructure machining,using electrochemical discharge machining method to process microstructure of titanium alloy.The processing of the microstructure of titanium alloy has been achieved through simulation analysis and experimental research.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Introduce the properties and applications of titanium alloys and the electrical machining methods of microstructures at home and abroad,and analyze the relevant important theories of electrochemical discharge machining.(2)The flow field of the machining gap is simulated and analyzed by finite element analysis software.The spiral tool electrode is used in the simulation.The simulation results show that when the rotation speed or diameter of the electrode increases,the velocity and pressure of the flow field increase,and the change of the processing depth has little effect on the velocity and pressure of the flow field.(3)Designed and established a set of electrochemical discharge machining test system for microstructure of titanium alloy.The design requirements of the system were analyzed,and the equipment required by the test system was selected one by one and reasonably built,and then the test system was debugged to meet the requirements of the process test.(4)Carried out the experimental research of electrochemical discharge machining for microstructure of titanium alloy.The working fluid is tap water,the electrode is PCB milling cutter,and the initial machining gap is 8?m.The effect of the electrode's lateral feed speed,machining voltage,the rotation speed of electrode,and the diameter of electrode on the test results are discussed separately.The test results show that when the electrode's lateral feed speed is 30?m/s,the machining voltage is 27V,the rotation speed of electrode is 12600rpm,and the diameter of electrode is 0.7mm,the surface quality of the processed microstructure of titanium alloy is the best.Finally,use the optimal parameters obtained from the experiment to process the microstructures of titanium alloy of different shapes.Experiments have proved that it is feasible to process the microstructure of titanium alloy by electrochemical discharge machining,and it has positive significance for the processing of microstructure of titanium alloy.Figure[186]table[14]reference[80]...
