| In this paper,“Wanhuai No.1”(Robinia pseudoacacia)was taken as the research and the anatomy characteristics were preliminary studied.The general rules of microfibril angle were summarized in the studying.The physical mechanical,chemical components and corrosion resistance were expounded.The comparative analysis was established between 20-year-old locust wood properties.The research will provide a theory basis for the further application of locust wood.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The fiber morphological characteristics of locust wood was studied.The fiber length,width,cavity diameter and double-wall thickness were 1232.97μm,21.41μm,10.31μm and 11.10μm respectively.The ratio of length and width was 57.58.The thickness to cavity diameter was 1.08 and the flexibility factor was 0.52.The vessel length and width were 226.13μm and 154.31μm.The height and width of wood ray were 271.79μm and 28.48μm.The tissue proportion of fiber,wood ray,vessel and axial parenchyma were 58.13%,13.87%,17.47%and 10.53%.The microfibril angle was 15.85°.(2)The wood density,shrinkage and physical mechanical properties were studied.The air-dry,oven-dry and basic density of locust wood were 0.79g/cm~3,0.71g/cm~3and 0.65g/cm~3.The air-dry shrinkage of tangential,radial and volume were 3.85%,2.15%and 6.47%.The oven-dry shrinkage of tangential,radial and volume were7.53%,4.88%and 12.86%.The differential shrinkage between air-dry and oven-dry were 1.72 and 1.38.The physical mechanical of bending strength,compressive strength along the grain and bending modulus were 152.71MPa,52.94MPa and12.07GPa.In 20-year-old locust wood properties,the air-dry,oven-dry and basic density of locust wood were 0.87g/cm~3,0.78g/cm~3 and 0.72g/cm~3.The air-dry shrinkage of tangential,radial and volume were 2.59%,4.45%and 7.11%.The oven-dry shrinkage of tangential,radial and volume were 5.07%,7.15%and 11.09%.The differential shrinkage between air-dry and oven-dry were 1.79 and 1.41.The physical mechanical of bending strength,compressive strength along the grain and bending modulus were 183.21MPa,49.46MPa and 19.46GPa.(3)The distribution of chemical component of locust wood was explored.In sapwood,the extractive,lignin,holocellulose,a-cellulose and hemicellulose were1.63%,19.28%,77.59%,44.12%and 33.48%.In heart wood,the extractive,lignin,holocellulose,a-cellulose and hemicellulose were 4.00%,24.82%,80.03%,52.22%and 29.81%.(4)The corrosion resistance level of locust was studied.“Wanhuai No.1”was showed I level corrosion resistance to brown rot fungus and white rot fungus.The20-year-old locust wood also exhibited the same corrosion resistance.The heart wood extractive showed well antibacterial effect. |
