With the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry,the manufacturing industry puts forward more requirements for the performance of cutting tools.China’s tool enterprises need to keep up with the pace of manufacturing transformation,the need for continuous innovation,and constantly absorb and digest new technology to speed up the iteration of tool products.Tap is one of the important cutting tools,large to aerospace,small to mobile phones,toys manufacturing,are inseparable from the tap.However,since the chip tolerance groove of the tap is an important channel for the tap to drain the chip,the subtle change of the chip tolerance groove parameters will have a great impact on the life of the tap.The chip tolerance groove is made from grinding by forming grinding grinding grinding grinding,and the error in processing will also directly affect the parameters of the chip tolerance groove,so the chip tolerance groove needs to be tested during the production process.Based on the analysis of the function and structure of the tap chip groove,and the characteristics of the traditional chip groove,a tap displacement chip detection system based on a laser displacement sensor was developed in this paper.The detection system consists of a mechanical structure,a laser displacement sensor,a motion control card,an industrial control computer,and a special software system developed.It can detect the rake angle,back angle,arc size,groove curve and other parameters of the tap chip groove.The structure and chip flute of the tap are introduced.The overall design of the chip flute detection system is carried out.According to the design index of the detection system,errors are allocated to each module.The motion control system based on industrial control computer Introduced;introduced the digital filtering algorithm,analyzed the feasibility of dynamic synchronous mining using multithreading method;used the sliding mean filtering algorithm to filter the data collected by the laser displacement sensor;applied mobile least squares to the filtered dispersion The data is fitted to obtain the groove detection curve,and according to the geometric parameter definition of the tap chip flute,a constrained least squares fit is used to calculate the rake angle,back angle and arc parameters of the groove.Under the integrated development environment of Qt 5,a special software system is developed to realize the above functions.The operator can control the laser displacement sensor,motion control system and data acquisition module of the detection system through the human-machine interface of the software to initialize the detection system,calibrate the laser displacement sensor,and complete the groove shape of the tap chip groove.Measure and finally judge whether the tap chip flute is qualified according to the calculation result.
