State-owned companies are playing dominant roles in critical areas with respect to lifelines of the national economy,and their performance has directly determined the efficiency and development of state-owned capital.Due to the drastic market competition,the state-owned companies have deepened their reform and expedited their development in response to more stimulating and complex competition.Performance management is one of the most important ways to help companies enhance their core competitiveness.The characteristics of profit-making and socialite of state-owned companies determine that there is a great difference between state-owned companies and other companies in performance management.There are many deficiencies in the traditional performance management of state-owned companies,which leads to poor management effect.Therefore,for the managers of state-owned companies,how to improve the performance management and apply modern performance management tools to state-owned companies are problems that need to be urgently considered.In the thesis,problems are found through collecting,sorting out,analyzing the existing performance management data and structures of NG Company.Based on NG Company’s situation,the targeted solutions have been provided in the thesis for NG Company’s reference on its optimization of performance management.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction.The second part is an overview of related performance management theories,including five processes and three evaluation methods.The third part first introduces the basic situation of the company,personnel and positions,the difficulties faced,and then introduces the company’s current performance management status.The fourth part analyzes the existing problems and causes of NG Company’s performance management based on the questionnaire survey and field interviews of the company’s employees.The fifth part refines the core of this paper,NG company performance management system optimization measures.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect.
