The Application Of Da Vinci Sketch Manuscripts In Men’s Ready-to-wear Design

Five hundred years after his death,Leonardo da Vinci continues to fascinate and fascinate us all as the artist,inventor and towering figure of the Renaissance.He was a genius artist of the European Renaissance and a prodigy in the history of mankind.In addition to a dozen enigmically beautiful paintings,he left behind a vast collection of sketches,notes and articles.There are about 4,000 of Leonardo’s manuscript sketches,which are actually organized and compiled into several different collections.Da Vinci’s sketches cover a wide range of subjects,from anatomical studies to the grinding and blending of paints.The study of Da Vinci sketch images not only revitalized science,promoted the progress of art,but also provided great reference value for modern medicine,astronomy,physics,architecture,military and other scientific fields.This paper studies the modeling characteristics,artistic value and scientific contribution of Da Vinci’s sketch manuscripts from the perspective of design,including the description and analysis of his sketch works to discuss the influence of Da Vinci on the history of art development.In addition,the representative works were extracted from the sketch manuscripts,and the graphic transformation design method with modern design thinking was explored and the new design concept was injected into the sketch manuscripts of Da Vinci,which was applied to the design of modern men’s clothing by pictorial application.Through the review of the historical background and development of Da Vinci’s sketch manuscripts and the later design research and practice,the following conclusions are summarized: First,in Da Vinci’s sketch,the form,light and shade and the space created by the virtual and real are the most prominent three elements,which play a leading role in the use of form and light and shade in the paintings.Secondly,Da Vinci’s art works are of rich artistic value,and his sketches have promoted the progress of modern art and science.Thirdly,a variety of design methods can be used in the composition and modeling of Leonardo da Vinci sketch manuscripts for design transformation.Fourthly,the art of painting and the art of clothing permeate each other.The art of painting provides artistic reference for the renewal and change of clothing design and endures new vitality to clothing.Fifth,the segmentation and subtraction method of Leonardo’s precise sketch images are more suitable for modern men’s clothing design.The transformation and application of the classic sketch paintings with rich scientific research value into modern men’s clothing design not only promotes the innovative development of modern clothing design industry,but also has profound significance for the innovation and breakthrough of China’s clothing design industry.
