With the gradual decrease of shallow oil resources in China, oil and gas drilling has to be exploited in deep formation. However, with the increase of well depth, drilling difficulty increases geometrically.Percussive drilling technology can significantly improve drilling speed. It is based on rotary drilling, adding a high frequency impact to make the bit bear periodic impact load. Therefore, the development of a percussive drilling speed-increasing tool has important practical significance for the improvement of drilling speed in deep formations in China.Firstly, the structural design of the speed-increasing tool for the axial percussive drilling is carried out, which mainly includes drive shaft, bearing, impact structure, sealing and so on.The two-dimensional and three-dimensional models are established as the research object of this topic.Secondly, the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench is used for static analysis to analyze the key components of the axial percussive drilling tool under different working conditions.Thirdly, the fatigue analysis of the shaft parts is carried out by using the fatigue tool. Finally, the multibody dynamic analysis software ADAMS is used to simulate the working process of the model, and the effects of drilling pressure, rotational speed, and impact spacing on the model are studied. The finite element analysis of the axial percussion drilling speed-increasing tool shows that all the key components can meet the strength requirements. The fatigue analysis of the shaft parts shows that the shaft parts all meet the infinite life, and the safety factor also meets the design requirements, which verifies the feasibility of the main structure design in front of them. The dynamic simulation results show that the fluctuation time of displacement, velocity and collision torque is corresponding, and the contact force fluctuates near the applied drilling pressure. The analysis of the influence of different drilling pressure, rotational speed and impact spacing on the model provides a certain reference value for future research.
