In the field of drilling engineering,the drilling pump,which is one of the most important equipments in drilling operation,is regarded as the heart part of oil rig and plays an important role in the exploitation of oil and gas.With the development of drilling technology,especially high pressure jet drilling,near balanced drilling,cluster directional wells,horizontal wells and other new technologies and new skills,triplex and five-cylinder single-acting piston type drilling pump is widely used and developed by many countries in the world.The target direction of the researchers generally are facing the big power,big displacement,high pump pressure,lightweight and electromechanical integration technology and other aspects of development.However,the drilling pump is one of the drilling machine products with complex structure and difficult manufacturing technology.Its technical performance and reliability of the stable operation,to a large extent,determine the drilling speed and quality.In recent years,the rapid development of virtual prototyping technology provides an effective method for the accurate simulation of this kind of electromechanical integration products.In this paper,through the study of the performance of the traditional drilling pump,a new 3000HP five-cylinder drilling pump was proposed for the shortcomings of the traditional drilling pump,and its dynamic end was designed and analyzed.The virtual prototype technology was applied to the drilling pump.A few aspects of the study are carried out as follows:(1)Literature and patent of domestic and foreign were researched.Analyzing of the drilling pump technical information and using field and understanding the use of domestic and foreign drilling pump status and advanced technology,this paper points out the existing product deficiencies and clears the development trend of drilling pumps.The theory and development status of virtual prototyping technology at home and abroad were summarized,and the application of this technology in the reciprocating pump was specific.(2)The overall transmission scheme of the new type of drilling pump was designed,and the transmission scheme of the traditional drilling pump and the new drilling pump was compared.The basic performance parameters of the drilling pump were described,and the technical parameters of the new drilling pump were designed.In view of this,the main components of the new drilling pump power end were designed.(3)The kinematics and dynamics analysis of the new drilling pump power end were presented,which provides the theoretical basis for the next step design of the new drilling pump.MATLAB software was used to program the mechanical equations.(4)Simulation with the establishment of 1D&3D model.The multi-rigid body dynamics model of the new five-cylinder drilling pump was established by using LMS Virtual.Lab Motion.The 1D simulation model of the new five-cylinder drilling pump was built by using AMESim.United simulate of the two models was carried out by using interface technology.And the multi-rigid body dynamics simulation analysis was carried out on the power end of the drilling pump by us:ing the hydraulic load obtained from the 1D simulation.(5)The finite element software ANSYS was used to analyze and check the key components of the new drilling pump powertrain,such as the crankshaft,connecting rod,crosshead,intermediate rod and shell,and the design of the rod and the shell was improved.
