After the miners work in the well,their clothes are covered with coal dust.In order to remove coal dust being carried to the pedestrian passage and avoid polluting the air,the negative pressure dust removal and dust collection device was designed.The dust removal system and the dust collection system are two important components of the device,and their structure will affect the working effect of the device.This paper establishes the structure model of the dust suction port,dust box and dust removal system,using computational fluid dynamics software,and considering the actual situation.The three-dimensional model is imported into ICEM to divide the grid.single-phase and discrete-phase models are used,and the k-? standard double equation is used as the turbulence model for flow field simulation in the Fluent software.According to the simulation results,the dust removal and dust collection device is improved,and the effective collection of coal dust is finally realized.The main work of the paper is as follows:(1)The physical properties of the working medium(air and coal dust)of the dust removal system are analyzed.According to the dust particle starting theory,the relationship between the starting speed of coal dust and the particle size is obtained.The suspension speed of coal dust is obtained from the force analysis of the dust particle suspension,which lays the foundation for the design of dust removal and dust collection devices.(2)Based on the analysis of the rectangular expansion area and the annular expansion area,the annular expansion zone is selected to analyze the influence of various structural parameters of the dust suction port on the dust suction performance.Subsequently,an improved model of the suction port was proposed,then analyze the models in the two cases for gas-solid two-phase flow simulation analysis,and make comparative analysis.(3)The sedimentation mechanism of coal dust in the dust collection box is analyzed,and the structure design principle of the dust collection box is obtained.Using Fluent to simulate and analyze the flow field in the dust box,simulate the particle movement trajectory,and improve the collection effect of the dust box by improving the initial design structure.(4)In order to enable the dust collector to remove the coal dust from the clothes of multiple workers at the same time,three dust suction ports,one dust box and the gas circuit system are taken as an overall simulation analysis.The pressure loss of the dust removal system is calculated from the coal dust starting speed and the suspension speed calculated before.Through fluid simulation,from the analysis of velocity cloud diagram,particle trajectory diagram and calculation of dust removal efficiency,it is evaluated that the entire dust removal and dust collection device has a reasonable structure and good dust removal performance,which can inhale and collect coal dust particles on workers' clothes.
