Research And Application Of Shanxi "Wenxi Huamo" Cartoon Image Design

Shanxi "Wenxi Huamo" have diverse model arts,distinctive colors and rich cultural connotations,showing the simple aesthetic taste of the local people and the unique skills of craftsmen.However,with the acceleration of social development and the inburst of foreign cultures,the local culture of our country is subjected to a strike to some extent.People are becoming increasingly indifferent to traditional culture and folk traditional arts.While as intangible cultural heritage,the "Wenxi Huamo" have confronted bottlenecks in exploiting the market for young people and foreigners,and are gradually fading out of the vision of the young group.At present,various innovations have been made on Huamo in model and color,but it’s still not enough for competition and promotion.In response to this situation,through the investigation and analysis of the cultural and artistic value of "Wenxi Huamo",we not only explored the promotion methods of "Wenxi Huamo" that meet the preferences of young consumers but also found practical and feasible design patterns based on the interests and needs of young audiences to make it more possible to promote the culture of "Wenxi Huamo".It is known that cartoon image design is not just a form of art,but an approach of propagating cultural phenomena and economic development among different regions as well.Its unique design is an indispensable demand for the extraction of traditional cultures and arts.It is also an inevitable trend to inherit and spread traditional cultures and arts.Therefore,I collect and sort out the relevant information of "Wenxi Huamo",analyze its artistic value from the aspects of modeling,color,meaning and folklore application;then make case analysis on the application of using the anthropomorphic method into traditional artistic models in cartoon image design and take the practicality of the anthropomorphic design of "Wenxi Huamo" cartoon image into consideration;finally create the cartoon image out with local characteristic based on the previous work,interpret the culture of "Wenxi Huamo" with modern design thinking and apply it in the design of derivatives of Huamo so that improve the recognition of "Wenxi Huamo",broaden its audience,and pioneer new ways of inheritance.
