In 2019,our country’s raw coal production reached 3.950 million tons.As the main transportation way for coal transportation,traction vehicles are affected by comprehensive factors of domestic regulations,policies and changes in customer demand.The development of coal transportation traction vehicles cannot meet market demand and power allocation.,which is not very reasonable.In order to develop and design coal transportation tractors that meet customer needs,relevant policies and regulations,through data analysis and first-line market research on the operating conditions of 350,000 coal transportation vehicles,long-distance dedicated line transportation,medium and short-distance transportation are analyzed and defined,Compound transportation,three road coal transportation modes,thus providing market guidance and theoretical basis for vehicle design and development.In order to guide the power matching design and optimization of coal transportation vehicles,the short-stroke method was applied to the data source of 86 highway coal operation routes to construct typical operating conditions,and the principal component analysis method and k-means clustering methods were used to determine the vehicle operating status.Divide,determine short-stroke segments in different regions,and use short-stroke segments to splice together to generate coal transportation market segmentation conditions.Carry out assembly tests on the developed models,and carry out constant speed fuel consumption comparison tests,plain high-speed free driving fuel consumption comparison tests,and mountain high-speed free driving fuel consumption comparison tests with mainstream competitors in the market.The fuel economy of the prototype was 5.4%,4.8%,and 2.9% lower than competing products under constant speed conditions,plain high-speed conditions,and mountain high-speed conditions.The fuel consumption per 100 kilometers following the car is 2.3% less fuel than competing products.Through the drum fuel economy verification,the fuel consumption of coal transportation is 39.44L/100 km.The test proves that the improved vehicle model in this paper has good power performance and fuel economy,and fully meets the design requirements.
