It is a turning point in printing industry today.The trend that digital printing replaces traditional gravure printing become irresistible.Digital printing overcomes the disadvantages of gravure printing such as long workflow,large size of equipment and high start-up waste,and has the advantages of high printing speed and high printing accuracy.In order to enhance the printing speed and precision of digital printing equipment,focused on the synchronization control of the printing parts,this paper set up the Multi Printing Parts Synchronous Control System and puts forward a new gPTP-based multi printing parts synchronization control method and afterwards constraints the key parameters.Finally,the rationality of the method and the printing effect are verified by simulation and experiment.In this paper,a digital printing device was built around the Ricoh Gen5 inkjet head,and the architecture of the Synchronous Control System of Multi Printing Parts was designed.The clock synchronization of gPTP,specified by IEEE 802.1AS protocol,is selected as the key technology,and the selection of each printing component and network protocol in the system is introduced.On the basis of the construction of architecture of the Multi Printing Parts Synchronous Control System,this paper analyzed and studied the influence of clock synchronization on printing accuracy and printing speed,combined with the analysis of the technical principle of Gen5 inkjet head,put forward the gPTP-based multi printing parts synchronous control method and specific requirements for key parameters.In order to realize the synchronous control method of the gPTP-based multi printing parts synchronous control method,this paper designs the software of the multi printing parts synchronous control system,analyzes the software requirements from three perspectives of user interaction,Ethernet communication and digital printing,and carries out the modular design.In the end,the simulation model of the Multi Printing Parts Synchronous Control System is built by OMNET++.With the simulation model and digital printing experiment platform,this paper verifies that the multi-printing parts synchronous control system can effectively meet the printing speed and printing accuracy requirements.
