Under the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic,all walks of life in China have been impacted to varying degrees,under this background,how to reasonably choose the development strategy suitable for our company,get the utmost out of the enterprise’s own resources,give full play to its advantages in the fierce market competition,occupy a dominant position and become a leading enterprise is very important for enterprises.This requires enterprises to adopt scientific methods to avoid business risks,improve the economic efficiency and the competitive strength of enterprises,and grasp the strategic direction of enterprises on the basis of existing enterprise resources.The more intense the environment is,the more important the strategic choice of business leaders is.For the company,in order to get through this difficulty,it is necessary to choose the development strategy suitable for the company.The correctness of the financial strategy determines the strength and weakness of the enterprise’s ability to create value.A good financial strategy can ensure that the capital chain of an enterprise is not broken,and the idle capital of an enterprise can give full play to its role,avoiding excess or surplus of capital and affecting the efficiency of value creation of the company.In a world of intense competitive pressures in domestic nonferrous metal smelting industry,strategic management has become an effective means for enterprises to improve their competitiveness and maintain a competitive position in the market.The financial strategy matrix provides a model for financial strategy management to measure the development status of enterprises,and is a financial tool for analyzing the development of enterprises.As an excellent enterprise in nonferrous metal smelting industry,Y Company has its unique high-tech value and vitality,and is doing an increasingly important factor in the development of national economy.Therefore,the analysis of Y Company will provide reference for similar enterprises.In this paper,by constructing the quadrant of the financial strategy matrix in which Y Company is located from 2016 to 2020,and calculating relevant indicators,we can evaluate the capital status,value creation status,sustainable development ability and value creation ability of Y Company.Among them,the ability to create value is reflected by economic value added（EVA）.In addition,it analyzes the current situation and existing problems of Y Company’s financial strategy,and improves the existing financial strategy of Y Company.From the perspective of investment strategy,fund-raising strategy,operation strategy and dividend distribution strategy,this paper puts forward optimization suggestions in combination with the situation of the enterprise itself,so that it can make rational use of surplus funds,improve the current situation of the enterprise’s impairment value,and make Y Company less detours in a extremely competitive marketplace,and achieve sustained profitability and long-term development on the basis of existing resources.
